Acolyte Vestment Washing Schedule
April 2018- Van Oss/Vos
Only take the robes that do NOT have clips on them. If they have a clip on the front, it has not been worn since the last time they were washed!
- Washing instructions are on the tags.
- If they are taken out of the dryer quickly, they should not need to be ironed.
-You might want to coordinate with the other family on your given month so that you know when they are taking the robes.
first family on the list takes all the b’s, c’s and the second family on the list takes the d’s, e’s and the g’s., 12 robes each (there are two each of the red cassosks size BC, BD, BE, CD, CE, CF, DE, DF, DG, EJ, FK, AND GM).
-The hangers are marked with the two letter code, so please take the hangers with you, and then return them on their correct hanger.
-The sacristy is locked during the week but Sue A. in the office could let you in from 8am-1pm, or Kathy J in the afternoons, or you could grab them after a Sunday service and then return them by 9:45am the next Sunday.
-You could also check the white cottas at the same time; but I am guessing they would not need to be washed as often…
-If you could wash them around the first of each month; that would help it keep it consistent (i.e. avoid having them washed on June 29 by June family and then again July 2 by July family)
- If the month you are assigned doesn’t work for some reason, please just switch with another family.
