Laura Kelly Fanucci describes herself as a mother, writer, wonderer and seeker of God in the chaos of laundry and life with littles. She is the director of the Communities of Calling Initiative at the Collegeville Institute at Saint John’s University. She is the author of several books including To Bless Our Callings: Prayers, Poems, and Hymns to Celebrate Vocation (Wipf & Stock, 2017) and Everyday Sacrament: The Messy Grace of Parenting (Liturgical Press, 2014), and the co-author of Living Your Discipleship: Seven Ways to Express Your Deepest Calling (Twenty-Third Publications, 2015). Her popular blog motheringspirit.com is a treasure trove of inspiration for everyday parenting as spiritual practice.
October 27 she will present Called Together: A Day of Reflection from 9am-3pm that includes presentations on calling across life’s stages and seasons, breakout groups for particular ages and stages of life, time for personal reflection, communal prayer, and lunch. $15 a person Come for the morning, the afternoon or both; whatever works in your schedule!
