Weekly Wednesday Church Nights are held September-April and are a chance for all ages to gather and select from the following: 5:30pm - an informal Eucharist 6:00pm - provided healthy, homemade meal 6:15pm - Choir Rehearsal 6:30pm - Formation 2x a month, GIFT 1x a month 7:40pm - Bell Choir Rehearsal
Our 5:30 pm Eucharist is held in church. (There will not be Eucharist if there are no Church Night activities.) This is a great way to attend service if you are not able to make it on Sunday. We gather in the front pews. We are grateful that Brad will once again lead our music on his guitar. This service is less formal and briefer than Sunday. We use the coming Sunday’s scripture readings for discussion.
Buffy will be preparing our simple suppers again this year. Buffy does a wonderful job preparing a simple, healthy meal that we ask you to help support by making a donation toward defraying the cost. Check out the menu below.
The 6:30 pm program includes Christian formation for children in preschool grade through confirmation. Character Club is a new program for prek-3rd grade with fun activities based on a different core value each month. 4th-Confirmation age will have formation groups also. There will be a speaker or program for adults.
Church Nights will meet three times per month. Two Wednesdays the children/youth will be in their age specific program, one Wednesday we will be together for GIFT; Growing in Faith Together-(please see separate article), and we will have one Wednesday where we don’t gather at church, instead that time can be used for focusing on faith at home.
