In this session, we discussed chapter 3, and then pointed out that chapter two was about the bible – stories of our Christian past - and chapter 3 takes bible history one step further and links it to the Episcopal Church. The chapter talks about how our church came to be. We talked about how history in general helps define the present, and that we all have a history that shapes who we are today – the church is no different.
